We’ll also get organised straight away using the tools that I use for task and project management, productivity tips, time management and more.
WEEK 2 - Build your brand
This is when you’ll build your brand look and feel, get creative with Pinterest, come up with your brand story and voice, create your logo, brand mood board and craft your one liner elevator pitch. This provides a distinct identity for your business. We’ll also be talking about the importance of brand photography and how to get started inexpensively.
WEEK 3 - Build your WEBSITE
You’ll be securing your domain and learning all about WordPress and Squarespace websites by an expert web developer and design. We’ll be touching on SEO and then you’ll go forth and create your own website. Or you can choose to outsource this part if it’s not your thing.
WEEK 4 - Build your FINANCIAL STRUCTURE
We get into the structure that you need to put around you, like the external people you’ll need to keep you on track for things like bookkeeping, taxation, contracts and bank accounts. We’ll also go through all of the tech tools you’ll need (and that clients want you to know) and show you exactly how to use them.
WEEK 5 - GET SOCIAL ON SOCIAL MEDIA
The key to finding clients is to find them on social media platforms and start talking to them! We’ll be learning about Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn and how to use them for your business. We’ll also touch on how Pinterest can help drive traffic to your website. And you’re in for a treat with some expert strategy lessons too.
WEEK 6 - WORKING WITH CLIENTS
You’ll be learning how to find your ideal clients, how to pitch your services, the questions you need to ask before you start working with them, as well as how to onboard new clients. You’ll receive templates like contracts and proposals and each step to sign up those new clients. I’ll also show you exactly how to use Asana to get organised with your workflows.

I’m not sure what services I can offer as a VA?
In our first week we’ll take a look at what skills you currently have, or have had in the past, and convert them into the online world.
Do I have to give up my day job to become a VA?
Absolutely not! Most VAs start as side-hustles. There is no way I’m going to encourage you to abandon all sources of income while you’re building your new business. This will give you a chance to give this a go and make sure it’s what you want to do.
I work full-time. How will I fit this in?
I get it. Life is busy. But this is a big part of the reason why so many women want to work for themselves; so we have that flexibility to decide when and where we work. We can then have work fit around our life and not the other way around. You’ll need 2-3 hours a week to get through the content.
Do you have a refund policy?

I’m not on Facebook, can I still do the course?
Absolutely. The course material won’t be delivered in Facebook so you won’t miss out on any of the content. Your business is likely to need a presence on Facebook when you launch and to do that you’ll need to make an account. You don’t need to be a ‘friend’ with anyone.
Do I have to be available during certain hours to do the course?
No you don’t, I know you’re busy. The course is going to roll out over six weeks but it’s not live. You will receive an email at the start of each week with a link to where you will find all the videos and downloads for the week and you can do it at your own pace at a time that suits you during that week. And if you fall behind, don’t stress, the information doesn’t expire.
How many hours will I need to complete the course material each week?
