Congrats! You’ve started your new business as a VA.
But you might be feeling underprepared and overwhelmed? Is this you?
Something that’s important to remember is that you might not ever be fully ready to dive into the entrepreneur life but sometimes you just gotta do it 🙌 Take that leap of faith!
I’m cheering for you! Because I was once where you are. About to embark on entrepreneurship with zero experience.
I personally believe that if there is something that your mind keeps going back to, that keeps pulling at your heart, it’s simply meant for you… no questions asked 💓 And it’s your job to follow your intuition, the breadcrumbs and the heart strings, that are telling you that there’s more to life than what you’re currently doing.
But of course there will always be those thoughts or limiting beliefs that try to get in the way. You may be familiar with this as ‘doubt’ or ‘fear’.
I’m almost positive that overcoming internal battles to achieve what your heart desires is what will make you unstoppable no matter what the universe throws at you. Imagine where you could be in 1 year from now if you started working towards your goal TODAY? 🥰
So here are my tips to get you best prepared for this new and exciting chapter as a kick@rse business woman 💃
1️⃣ Work through your business plan before you really kick things off. Know EXACTLY what your business is about and what it means to you. During discovery calls, potential clients will want to know what your business is about and why you are doing what you are doing AND how you can help them. People want to work with VA’s who have as much passion about their job as they do 💖 I dive into all of this inside my Business Kickstarter Course.
2️⃣ Set up your project platforms with workflow templates. Having a workflow process when working with clients is important because not only does it keep you organized but it keeps the client up-to-date with what you’re working on. Plus, most project management platforms have a comment section which makes it easier to communicate to your client when working on specific tasks/projects 💻✨
3️⃣ Make sure you have a client onboarding process. Making things as smooth as possible from the initial sign up to working on your first task is a great way to deliver value to your client as early as possible. Not sure how this works? I have a masterclass on how to onboard your first client here. 💐
4️⃣ Time block your calendar. This is one of the best things to implement into your weekly routine. Knowing what you’re going to be working on and when, makes things SO much easier throughout the week. And will mean you’re productive – hello task batching!
5️⃣ Establish a point of consistent communication with your clients. As your business grows you will find that some clients are better at communication than others. In the scenario that you don’t hear from a client for a day or two, don’t be afraid to send a follow up email. Not sure how to structure this? I’ve got you. Included in my email templates bundle is a ‘Follow Up Email’ which is perfect for all new VA’s or anyone is wanting to up scale their small biz 💌✨
